Dr Jennifer Brown and the team at NRM are dedicated to providing Vermont patients the highest quality care in our ever-changing field of reproductive medicine. To do so requires investment in the greater community of REI professionals, and a commitment to continuing education of both providers and the public. The members of the New England Fertility Society (NEFS) recently elected Dr. Brown to serve as the Vermont representative on the NEFS Executive Committee. This 2 year position serves to further the mission of the society, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting awareness, education, and exchange of ideas among providers, the public, and ultimately patients, in the field of fertility in New England. Executive members must demonstrate high ethical principles in their profession, be invested in the field of infertility, reproductive medicine, and reproductive biology. Currently, Dr. Brown is actively planning the NEFS Annual Meeting to be held in Stowe, Vermont in April 2016. She also sits on the Selwyn Oskowitz Endowment Committee, which allows NEFS to fund ongoing research and lectureships in the field. Dr. Brown previously served on the Executive and Legislative Committee of the Colorado Ob/Gyn Society, and advocated for women’s rights and important healthcare legislation. Dr. Brown is committed to improving fertility support, education, and advocacy.NRM offers freezing and storage of eggs, sperm, or embryos for individuals with a recent cancer diagnosis who desire future fertility, or those who elect to delay childbearing for other reasons.
